There's an art installation running in the city at the moment - decorated pianos in public places for people to play. This one was on the lawn outside the arts centre - it was covered in fake grass and flowers.
The fingerspell painted on the front spells out 'Play me I'm yours" in Auslan (Australian Sign Language).
I'll post colour pics of the pianos in my other album over the next few weeks.
oh these are a fantastic idea - bring out some random creativity in people! Totally love the Auslan instructions too! look forward to seeing some in colour!
we had those 'play me i'm yours piano' running in the summer for almost 8 years now. i love it when a random person would sit casually, play a few notes before launching into a beethoven or a chopin piece. enjoy.
