A Moment in May by allie912

A Moment in May

This is my 15:00 UTC shot, taken as I was leaving church. Nothing very dramatic because everyone who stayed for the 11 AM service is already inside. And the people who were at the early service (me) and stayed for the annual meeting have already left. Well at least you can sense the peacefulness of my church. I'll be interested in seeing all the other "global mosaic" shots.
Thank you so much for letting us know about this project, it's such a cool idea!! It will be fun to see what everyone was doing in one moment.

It does look very peaceful, great photo :)

Definitely a very serene feel to this photo. I have to say, however, that coming from the Catholic tradition, and living in a northern city, I am always a touch surprised to see a church NOT made of stone! But the brick looks lovely against the greens of spring. :)

i can almost feel that 'longed for' peacefulness in this photo. i would love to go around it and wonder about the many stories that come with it.

I agree, Luster Lai - lots of stories, I'm sure.

Yes, it is very peaceful. Brick churches project a certain sense of strength and permanence.
Thank you for your comment on the Winery and for reminding me to tag it "global mosaic".

Lovely peaceful moment in time. I will add my thanks for telling us about the project...not sure they needed my asparagus photo for posterity but that's what they got!!!
