Our school garden is amazing. There is always something in bloom. I wish you could smell the heady perfume of these extravagant blossoms. When I was a kid we had peonies in our garden, but they were usually full of ants. These are not only beautiful but totally ant-free!
Oh, Alli, this is just gorgeous! I brought tiny little roses and yours are the size of a luncheon plate! They're gorgeous, and how do you manage to keep them ant-free?! We have them in our NS yard, and I can't wait to see the blooms (that will come later, being so much further north). They're just a treasure of a flower!
Thank you for "getting it" re: my overly sentimental song and comment today...but I'm really feelin' it!
And to you -- Happy Teacher Appreciation Week! These blossoms are beyond beautiful. You have truly captured these soft and delicate blooms so much so that I feel as if I can smell their fragrance.
Oooh, very pretty. Wish I could just grab these right off the screen and give them to my Mom. She just loves pink!!
Thanks for your comment on my Sunshine shot today. You asked about the whorls. That's a cloud that came through. We're up so high that the rest of the world can be nice and sunny, but we may engulfed in a puffy cloud for a short time. Like flying in an airplane. Ha!
Wow...this makes me think of a wedding (I guess b/c they always have pretty flowers at weddings ...who knows...but that was my train of thought!) such delicate flowers.
