Inspired by the pictures of early bird 365-ers, I took an early morning walk in the neighborhood in search of my last shadow picture. The world was quite empty of people, although I did see 3 rabbits and about 300 squirrels and chipmunks. I think I will call this picture "Baby Shadow" because of the size of the shadow and the subject. And now I'm finished with shadows!
"Baby Shadow" does seem very appropriate --- but you do have the shadow of the tree, as well.
You have caught the "early morning" feeling of the photo.
Good for you for 1 - gettin up and out for a walk so early and 2 - for finding a week's worth of shadows. Wonder what the next theme will be! I didn't have any shadow shots.
Allison, thanks for your nice comment on my train track photo. That's the 1st railroad track photo for me. I framed it as I did b/c I actually stopped on the tracks and took the photo out my car window so the framing seemed "right" to me.
It has been a nice shadow week :) and you have had some awesome shadows! I especially love your "homemade" shadow that says I love 365 :D very creative. and this has a very nice summery feel to it...ahh. beautiful weather!
darn, i wrote a comment before anyone else but forgot to click on post comment again. was up at 4.30 and said it is nice to go for a walk early in the morning while everyone else is turning around again in bed or sitting having their cuppa java. you came across a nice shadow there. good for you for your last shadow pictures.
Thanks for the suggestion but at the time i uploaded this photo i didn't know the name so if you click on Karen i just wrote her the name and explanation. the flower is called Gazinia and i have already change it in my calendar. thanks anyway always appreciate hints such as this one in the comments.
