Since I snapped this picture on Sunday morning, posting it for this week's theme breaks the letter if not the spirit of the competition. I don't care. I just like it.
What's more fun in childhood than running through a sprinkler on a summer day! I haven't seen another picture quite like this one, and it's just excellent, the way the water catches the light!
(Thanks for your kind words about our back deck... We love that it comes with a cat!)
Great shot...I am always tempted to run through the sprinklers in my yard...haha...maybe once I get the yard fenced in I might try it!
Re the book...we had some interesting discussions d/t the topic, of course (it's about a prostitute) but we also talked a lot about the characters and how they were developed in the story. I still have not read the Alchemist. Heather gave it to Kelly for Xmas and I was to borrow it when she finished it but keep forgetting to ask her for it. Heather said it is her favorite book.
I like it too...! My yard doesn't need watered. I've had rain nearly every day for an entire month! We had five inches this morning all at once. I wish I could send it your way.
I made this a fave! I love the water droplets and the way you captured all the rays beaming down. Just wonderful! Thanks for your comment on my ice cream shot. I have now tagged it for the theme, thanks for the reminder!
I agree with Theresa -- Rule # 1: Take pictures of things that make you happy. Rule # 1a: Post pictures of the things that make you happy.
To me this whole project is about ENJOYING taking pics and ENJOYING sharing them with your "friends" on the Project.
