More years ago than I would like to remember, my college room mate and I took a cross country trip across the United States. I found this work in a little gallery in Cincinnati, Ohio and had to have it. The artist's name is Vicky Todd, and although I haven't read anything about her finding fame and fortune, I do think this graphic has had staying power. There is a sardonic wit to this piece, and long before the era of Enron and Bernie Madoff, I think Ms. Todd captured the greed driving a segment of our society.
It's a fascinating piece- definitely before its time OR things haven't changed much (because human nature really doesn't change that much!). It's really hard to shoot a picture in a frame without getting a glare on the glass. Nice capture.
