Beware of the Dog

Today's walk took me in a different direction into what we call The Museum District or The Fan. The Fan District is primarily a residential neighborhood consisting of late-nineteenth and early-twentieth century homes. Was I surprised to read this warning in French on the gate of one home. I never heard any barking, in French or English.
