First Lesson by allie912

First Lesson

On this afternoon's walk I followed the quavering shriek of a trombone to its source and found this young lady practicing after her very first lesson, She was happy to pose for me, but the best part of the picture is her dog. Notice the furrowed brow and his ear flipped back. He is such a loyal companion, he stayed right by her side, but clearly he would prefer to be elsewhere.
Great capture

very funny find. Allie, I think of your walks when people post that they just have nothing to shoot. You find the most interesting things

Poor poor pup. I played the trombone many years ago, so I know what that poor fella was going through! How funny you followed your ears to the source!

Allison, you have excelled yourself with today's postings. The dog looks like a 'guard; for the girl......don't know if the dog is impressed by her musical talents though :)

Oh funny - he looks a little pained. Another great shot.

Cool catch ... and it portrays a clever story. Loyal dog watching over his loving mistress. Amazing he wasn't howling ;-)

I just followed the trombone tag and found this delightful picture. Today I posted a picture of my husband's trombone. Your photo really moved me as I thought of this little girl's first lesson and remembered my daughter's first music lesson. Fav.
