They did it!

Ever since our daughter moved to Boston, my husband has been a New England Patriots football fan. This year he even went so far as to buy this hat from the NFL store online, and he wore it faithfully throughout the season. His loyalty was rewarded this afternoon when they snatched victory from the jaws of defeat and won the AFC championship. Next stop: The Super Bowl in 2 weeks. You can be assured John will be wearing his hat and clutching the Patriots drink huggie our daughter gave him for Christmas for that game as well.

Watching the Giants/49ers game right now, I think whoever we end up facing in the Super Bowl, we're not going to have nearly as much luck unless the team as a whole wakes up significantly!
