A lot can happen in a year. I happened to have a picture of this unassuming little bungalow on the upper right because I liked the pink door. I used to walk by almost daily. Then at the beginning of the summer the little house had been torn down and construction had begun on its replacement. Naturally I had no idea what the new structure would look like. When I was knocked out of commission two months ago, I figured the house would be completed by the time I was out and about again, but as you can see in picture 4, it is still not finished. In fact the machinery was still making an awful racket, and if I lived in a neighboring house I would be very anxious to see the job completed. The new house is so much bigger, not just taller but with a big addition added to the back. The plot of ground, of course, hasn't grown. Right now it looks incongruous among its smaller neighbors but maybe it will grow on me.
