Twinkle, Twinkle by allie912

Twinkle, Twinkle

They shone like little stars from a sky of green foliage. Don't know what they are, but I'm sure someone on 365 will have the answer.
I just left a comment on a photo captioned "Stormy Feather" and there was Lena Horn singing in my head! I look at this, follow your train of thought, and now it's "Stars Fell on Alabama"... (Who needs an iPod?!) The name? I have no idea, but they're beautiful! (You said you'd never heard of gazanias...they're a plentiful drought-resistant ground cover out here...but you, being a librarian, probably already looked that up!)

Another great song. Billie probably does it best, but there is an Ella and Satchmo duet which is great.

@Weezilou Thanks for your great comment, as usual. I always feel like I am corresponding with an old friend when I read your comments. And then I remember: I traveled around Europe with you! And now excuse me while I break into song!

@adambralston Thanks for the follow, Aam. I clicked on your latest picture and there was Weezie's Stormy Feather! How great is that.

As often as Josie has me out looking for flowers to plant in the garden I should becoming quite familiar with the many varieties, but these I do not know. We bought some Clematis tonight, and they have a similar look, but of different color, so sorry, no help here.

Sweet shot, Allison. I also like the framing.
