Unwanted Visitors

"The bright yellow aphids found on milkweeds are destructive, non-native pests. It is important to remove and dispose of them at first appearance or they will quickly infest the plant, making it difficult for monarchs to use the plant."
This year's milkweed has come to the end of its growing season, but good advice for next year.
Great catch

We almost lost a burning bush (the one I posted today) last year. we bought some powder last year, but it didn't work to good. Hans made himself some tonic and sprayed it with it. we also cut quite a bit off and to out surprise the bush filled our again and look beautiful, if I may say so. love your picture and it's so important to keep the milkweeds healthy.

Wow- that looks horrible but nature does have its cycles. So how do they get rid of the aphids in an organic way?
