Farmers, gardeners and landscapers have jobs that need to be done rain or shine. My friend Robyn was deeply involved in removing iris bulbs in preparation for a transformation of this flower bed. In her usual cheerful way she pointed out that it is much easier to dig when it is raining. Now that is seeing the glass half full!.
It actually is! It doesn't seem to make sense that way but I do remember when I was younger and arthritis free- if I didn't mind getting wet, I'd go out and do my weeding then because the weeds came right out with very little tugging. Robyn has a very nice smile!
