One reason I love the long leisurely Christmas vacation is that it gives me a chance to catch up with old friends. Here is a former colleague from the library with whom I had lunch. We practically camped out and stayed so long I doubled my tip as a parking fee! We talk family, movies and books in no particular order and never run out of things to say.
I try to have lunch with friends over the break, too--it's always nice to have time to sit back and enjoy our lunch/conversation instead of eating in 25 minutes :)
