Long Time Friends

Whenever my friend Pat, on the left, returns to Richmond to visit family from her new home in Mt. Dora, Florida, we get together for lunch with our other good friend, Jackie. The three of us raised our kids together, and we always have lots of catching up to do. The staff at Yum Yum Good have been hosting us for over 20 years and I hope we will continue to meet there for many years to come.

I find this lasting friendship (one of many that you have!) is so endearing! The stories that evolve through the years as the children grow, move away, and lives change are priceless to us who have shared them. On the 17th I'm getting together with my circle that meet annually since we were delegates at a convention in 1978. Amazingly, I'm the youngest and only one has passed, the eldest being 101 (though she no longer joins us for lunch!).
