As we prepare for what the local weathermen tell us will be a major snow event on Friday, I thought I'd post this shot taken in Florida on my recent visit. Yes it would be nice to have flowers all year long, but my Puritan New England soul thinks you must work for that reward. Hence the need for some snow and cold.
It is a lovely flower and flowers always brighten our days. My marigolds, petunias and snapdragons somehow managed to live through the cold and freeze that we had and I am hoping that winter is over for us. We don't do winter too well! I will leave it for folks like you!
