On February 2 in the United States we celebrate Groundhog's Day and wait for the groundhog to wake up and tell us how much more winter we will have. For this kindergarten class it seemed to be a good day for bears to end their hibernation -- or at least teddy bears. When the boys and girls entered their classroom this morning, all the teddies, who had been sleeping soundly in their "cave" had come out and wreaked havoc among the toys and supplies of the classroom. I arrived just in time to hear all about it. The students were giddy with amazement, but the teddy bears were taking it all in stride.
