Each year our Second Graders research the United States, with each student focusing on one particular state. The final day kicks off with a Hat Parade, as the students share their amazing creations with friends and family. The other grades love it. The Third and Fourth Graders think back with nostalgia to their special state, and the younger students look forward with eagerness to their time in the spotlight. The rest of the morning includes sharing finished research products with their parents and then a big musical extravaganza in the school theater, as they share a tribute to "The Fifty Nifty United States" It is one of the highlights of the Lower School Years.
