How did I miss this picture book in our collection? It was published in 2003 and, sixteen years later, it still evokes the trip I took this summer. In fact it was so delightful, I immediately ordered a copy to send to my safari mate. Shhh, don’t tell!
@taffy So glad you saw this. Naturally I thought of you! When my daughter saw my posting, she requested a copy for her 3 year old who has been telling everyone his grandmother had gone on a safari.
