Kiss the Fish

Here is Jack Glover's finished print. To see the artist http://365project.org/allie912/365/2010-06-03
Jack says he was inspired by his travels near the Hudson River where he learned of this custom of releasing fish that are undersized.
Mr. Glover is sooo creative. I really like his print. The more you look at it the more details that you can see. I just love his title "Kiss the Fish"-- recognizes that releasing the "little" fish is beneficial to the whole fish population.

Love this print and the way he gets his message across with a bit of humor!

What a fantastic opportunity for the students at your school ... I am envious! (I am going to have a personal art experience on Sunday ... stay tuned!)

I *adore* everything about this! I love block prints and the history of making them...this is a wonderful image! You'll laugh, but I like the sentiment, too! (I love carving on block erasers...love the whole process of creating in that fashion, and the prints are always fun to make as well...)
