That's me skulking around looking for clues with a class of second graders. The mission: introduce the genre of mystery stories and all the appropriate vocabulary: clue, suspect, witness, evidence, red herring, solution. We had fun revealing the definitions on the SmartBoard (interactive white board) and afterwards everybody got a mystery of their own to read.
This picture was taken by the teacher of this class, a great partner in any project.
I love this! What a wonderful way to make books come alive. I have always love mysteries! Dad and I read the Hardy Boys and Encyclopedia Brown. Mom and I loved the Boxcar Children and Nancy Drew. Oh, and I read all the Babysitter's Club Mysteries. =) We all still read mysteries. Great shot!
I could use you on my job, you already have the outfit. I appreciate you for being a teacher that thinks out of the box with your teaching. Thanks great picture
