POV 2

Today I am presenting a little exercise in how point of view can be manipulated. Friday evening John and I went to the VMFA (Virginai Museum of Fine Arts) for light supper and a look at the photo exhibit of Elvis at 21(Great show, BTW) In the atrium as part of the museum's First Fridays series, "Spoken Word Featuring Four Poets Reading" was taking place. The way I have shot, processed and cropped this image creates an impression of a very well-attended program. Be sure to look at the picture I chose for my other album to a different point of view. http://365project.org/allie912/365/2012-01-08

Yes, very interesting perspective and makes it easy to see how we can be manipulated to believe certain things.

Very well done Allison

This was something I was always trying to emphasize to my Apologetics and my World View classes. Not only can pictures be manipulated, but reports, quotes, interviews- you name it! They don't call it spin for nothing!

Cleverly done Allison. So which photo was more accurate?

You've shown me how even on 365 I can be guilty of selective POV shots ... usually to miss out the ugly parts of a scene.
