Theo participated in our craft activities at church but never removed her purse. Something she said prompted me to ask her what was in her bag, at which time she raised the flap and let me peer in. To my amazement I saw two sleeping sugar gliders curled up cozily in the darkness. Theo explained she had gotten them from Craig's List from a man who had nursed them back to health from someone else. She told me he had a number of these pocket pets so he was willing to give these two up. She has had them about 3 months. The two males share a cage when they are not on the road, and they are no trouble at all.
