Oh my goodness, I came home with LOTS of photos. Sick amounts. I really captured my time in the city on the day of the meet up. I was there from around 10:30 in the morning until about 9:30 at night and shot almost 500 photos in that time.
I joked with Michael before the trip that I was done with cuteness, I needed a break! It was time for grit, grunge and concrete. And what was I drawn to in the city?? Cute, sweet candids. I was so loving street photography. This was my favorite photo from our walk. I took this while we waited for the last of our group who was lost somewhere in a cab.
I had an absolutely amazing time. Met some incredible people and photographers. It was a once in a lifetime experience for me that couldn't have been better.
More photos to come...please forgive my mass uploads. I've got so many shots to share and took 4 days off posting. Hope I captured the flavor of the city and the awesome time I had there.
Great capture - great personality in this shot, it tells a story. Like the pronounce contrast of colors against whiteness of background - really makes subjects standout. Ordinary event made extraordinary. FAV
@edie Kicking myself for not posting b&w. What do you think? And thank you so much. I could not stop shooting adorable children. Think I missed mine?! I actually didn't much. I had such a blast and LOVED the much needed break!
Excellent candid. Was so great to meet you, Debbie and the rest of our new group of friends. I enjoyed the social aspect of the "tour" more than anything else.
I vote color! Awesome capture! If you are a Grey's fan, he looks a little like McDreamy, so a sub title could be McCutie and McDreamy. :)
I love your story too such fun to hear your impressions and see the pictures also.
Thank you all for your wonderful comment on this candid of a cutie and her dreamy daddy:). I think that I should have gone with b&w in my main album, though there was a split decision on it. I did love the color of her hat and shoes, though. So fun to come upon such cuteness in the city. Finally getting caught up with my life and photos:)!
@amandal I think you made the right choice with color. It is more dramatic and in this particular case more personal - not something I would normally say about B&W vs color but in this case color wins out.
Cute indeed!
I'm leaning toward the B&W simply because of the distraction in the background. The color version would win for me if it was just the main subjects against the building.
Can't beat her colorful shoes, though. :-)
I like the color! They're both great though. Candids are just about my fav thing, and this one is fabulous. She is SO cute, and that flower is so big. Fav!
@m9f9l You are sweet. I LOVED shooting candids in the city. The best part of my time. Did you see my boy from yesterday? I think it was my favorite photo from the whole trip. Thanks for the fav, friend!

@eyesmile Thanks so much for the kind words and fav, sweet lady. You rock!!
