I took the kids to a Birds of Prey event at the local library today. It was partially selfish as I knew that there would be plenty of photo ops. It was long and kinda boring for them, but I loved seeing the owls and the falcon. This one was Slyvester, the Great Horned Owl, and I liked him best. We were taught that this owl is sometimes the "Tiger of the Sky" and I can see why.
The intensity of these staring eyes is starting to creep me out, like he can see directly into my soul. What do you think?
@adamj Thank you. I loved him. I'm an owl fan. I can't believe how few comments this got. All of a sudden they are really waning. It went from 40 something and more down to 12! That's what I get for cutting back and announcing it.
@amandal Interesting observations Amanda. I have also noticed a small drop off. I chalk it up to two factors. 1) For most of the 365 world it is summer time. Naturally, less computer time as well. 2) I admit, I just simply cannot make the rounds commenting as religiously as I once did. I think it's costing me viewership/comments. Sounds like the same deal for you. Agree?
