I searched high and low for the zebras at the zoo. I'd visited 3 times and never come across them. This time, I asked for directions, studied the map and walk and walked...and finally I found them tucked back on an obscure pathway.
I love how this smooth criminal is watching me watching it. I was peeping through some tree limbs and tried to frame him as best as I could. It was one of those instances where I wish I had had a saw in my camera bag. Dang obstructions.
Seeing him was a real thriller for me:). Sheesh, how many Michael Jackson references can I get in one post. Ooooh hooo....
haha. too funny on the saw. been there. adore these creatures too. they are so black and white about everything. haha. i have a son like that.... hee. SUPER black & white of him. love the striking contrast
Lol love all the Michael Jackson references in the caption and in the comments. That aside, this is a great b&w shot. I like how you worked with the obstructions too. Nice job!
This is a great shot and a great image Amanda. Of course the black and white is perfect but I also really like the vignette and have often wondered when it would be appropriate to use one, well here's the answer.
So beautiful! Love the processing! We both had zoo visits and zebra shots as of late. You got so many great animal captures. I'm inspired to go back and give it another go.
I love the fact that you converted it to B&W. And I also like the soft shadow in contrast to the sharp lines of the zebra. I'll have to put the zoo on my list. That will take care of one day.
What a gorgeous shot and agreed, it is too bad when something gets in your way of that photo that you want to take without anything in the way. Still done really well. Love it in B&W.
@sailingmusic I love that you do. I really did, too. Thanks, Myrna!!
@amrita21 Aw, thank you. Funny, huh?!
@sbolden Thanks, Scott. You are funny. It's B&W, though;-).
@bardejov Thanks, kind lady!
I loved all of your great comments on my stripey friend here. Thanks so much.
