Yesterday I took two hikes in the woods to enjoy the lovely fall leaves. The good thing was that I got lots of pretty photos and slept very well for a change last night.
I only downloaded hike photos from the first one and this was my favorite of the bunch. Another bench shot. Some of us are thinking of starting a bench addicts anonymous club.

I love fall and walks like the one you took. This is a lovely shot as it evokes the feeling I get when I take a walk like this. And that is the mark of a fine photograph - conveying emotion.

yah, i'd be part of that club. sign me up. and the fence one too. such a lovely scene. i would be taking 2 hikes a day too in this scenery. great to fill the soul with. gorgeous shot.

This is great. I've got my eye on a certain bench in a certain park and am checking it every few days for the right moment. Missed it last year, got there just as the park maintenance crew finished blowing away all the leaves.....Fave

@my_photofun I really debated between portrait and landscape. I took the shot both ways. The landscape was a better shot of the bench, but the portrait captured more of the trees and the scene better so I went with it as I am trying to capture fall. Thanks so much for your kind comments!
