As I walked back to my cabin (the only way I want to camp from now on...I was so spoiled) I spotted this fern in the early morning light. It looked so happy creating chlorophyll. I went back into the cabin and started to crawl back into bed, but then had to go and capture this fabulously lit and overly dramatic fern. My camera was on manual setting and I shot this. Realized, changed to A, but ended up liking the manual version better. I blew it out with my exposure choices and this was in the sweet spot.
On one of my walks I saw some ferns and the light really brought out the green color. I took a few shots, but it didn't turn out like I thought an dit especially didn't look this good!
Love it and a fav. Fabulous lighting and presentation. These ferns are in my atrium and multiply like crazy especially when it rains. Can't figure out why I've never photographed them? Must do that some day ;-)
@cimes1 I love fern shots especially those curled up ferns, though I've never seen one of those. can't wait to see your fern shot. So lush and lovely, they are...thank you!
