I don't really pronounce it crick, like a pain in my neck:). But creek like rhyming with eek, which is what I am saying when I see Mad Hatters shots this week @madhatters . We are doing a creepy week over there...check it out if you dare:).
And here is the creek bed that I took my family over to wade around and and explore this weekend. It's fun to get your toes in the water and be in nature. And gosh, it was gorgeous there turning into fall.
I was blown away by your response to my Clara in the window shot yesterday. Thank you soooo much for that. Loving that my portrait skills are improving as that is a big goal of mine. Thanks for your support and encouragement in this regard!!
I am surprised that the crick is so low especially after all the rain we have had this soggy summer. I know crick is very much used in Pennsylvania. It took me a long time to break myself from using it.
I thought I was learning a new word, a crick being a creek without much water perhaps! So pretty, such a lovely time of year for sure. And a lovely reflection in there too.
@mrslaloggie Where are you now? I LOVE it here. I've lived in FL for 25 years, CA for 7 and now OH for 2+. Really really enjoy things about each place, but really like the natural beauty and seasons here best. Thanks!
@amandal Grew up in a lovely suburb outside of Phila. Lived in NYC right out of college and now have been in Los Angeles for the past 22 years. Guess I'm a city girl at heart. We get some pretty fall colors in spots but for snow must go to the mountains - although at this point my blood is too thin to really enjoy the cold and snow.
@mrslaloggie LOVE Philly, NYC, and at least So Cal...spent some time in San Diego, but only flew into LA. I was in Sac. California was great. If only it were cheaper...and got more rain. Sheesh. We had a hard winter last year, but it was not that bad. It's survivable...and golly, the snow sure is pretty!!
