Clara finally lost her first tooth yesterday. It had been wiggly for what seemed like months. It was so wiggly, that it was sticking straight out and a new tooth is already growing in behind it.
She was so brave...she let me try to pull it (and I was too chicken to pull it hard enough). And then she did the job herself. She and I were both proud of her.
Anyday now, she will lose the one next to it.
Our family is such a bunch of losers...the kids...their teeth and me...my mind;-). And this will be the last first tooth that our family loses. I remember mine still...losing it at SeaWorld when I was 5, while eating a bomb pop.
Nice shot! Loosing teeth is such an adventure. Now my 6 year old has lost both front teeth he looks like a jack-o-lantern just in time for Halloween. Wish I could get him to pose so nicely :)
So cute! Our youngest is and always has been quite stoic. We were sitting in church, and he looked up at me with a quite bloody mouth--didn't say a word.
@homeschoolmom Want to hear the saddest thing...she woke up devastated, the tooth was gone, but so was the money. She must thrash when she sleeps because it was later found under her bed. Totally broke my heart though...poor thing. Normally the kid wakes up all excited with their new dollar. Not her, she thought she was gypped. I have forgotten to play the tooth fairy 2 times with my moody middle child. I had to say I forgot to call her. Doh. And then as an I'm sorry the fairy left her a little extra.
Love your photo and what you wrote, the story continues. I feel like I know you and your family the way that you write and post. Sure wish you lived closer. FAV for the photo my friend.
