We went out last night to chase the moon at dusk. It was the night of the full moon, the Hunter Moon.
I had seen in the night before, low and orange, amazing...lighting up the autumn night. But I hadn't had a good camera and could only witness and not capture it's beauty.
We went back to our old neighborhood on the lake and walked around to our old places:the turtle bridge, the beach, the gazebo. We even saw an old neighbor and his dog. We were all sharing memories and had fun looking back and being in our stomping ground.
It was cloudy, though, and the moon never did make an appearance. A moonless walk, but full of fun.
I just loved how you could see the hint of fall color across the lake and during the blue hour. I miss my lake walks...we must go back more often.
Lovely time of the night to go wandering and your old haunts can't be too far away! No moon here either but have seen some amazing shots - but not on 365!
