The Show Must Go On

My life has been consumed with my kids crazy schedules.

One is in the high school marching band, basketball band, winter drum line and another is in show choir that meets every morning at 6:50 AM and two evenings a week.

Last night was the show choir preview show.

That's my Emily in the front right. The knockout. She's 13 going on 27 and she's a natural performer!

The kids and the camaraderie with other parents was fun when they were in that stage. We thought we'd miss it, and we did go to one marching band show as empty-nesters, but life has a way of filling up with other things when you no longer have a horse in the race. Nice shot! :)
