Well, by now its evident, I spend half my life at traffic lights.
The monsoon has well descended on the city..... cloudy skies, a pleasant breeze, the fragrance of earth all enliven. me....
These birds, I guess are surveying the traffic and are in discussion if the heavy rains and strong winds will continue..... In any case, this mid-air get together is a veritable party..... there is space on the wire for wire-crashers.... if anyone wants to join in the fun.
Great, dramatic capture against a moody sky.
I agree with Rachel @roseolivia: it reminds us of the ominous presence of birds in Hitchcock's homonymous movie...
(A close up would have been really stunning...).
@eyesmile Thank you Gena! :) @roseolivia Thanks for your wonderful words Rachel! :) @taffy Thanks so much Taffy! :) @mara19500 Thanks Mara, wasn't sure I did justice and the moody sky came through. It was a quick shot in passing, as always in the midst of traffic and the rush of life.... a close up was not possible.
@thresheg thanks Graham! :) your the expert on birds :) @khirsch thanks for your kind words Karin. These are pigeons, i barely had a moment to focus. As i spotted them, i got like 30 seconds ! Lol!
Yes! Amazing capture! I see birds on a wire around here too, but haven't been able to capture them in an interesting way the way you have! I love this!
