Candy corn season

Google tells me that candy corn is a mostly USA and Canada item. Invented in the late 1880’s in the US. Popular for autumn/Halloween. Some find it too sweet—I like it, but then I have a bad sweet tooth. For the mundane “sweets” challenge—check it out, it needs more entries! :)
