Flash of red, day 28 low key…a bit if sunrise across the ice. Another one from the archives. Happy to say I was discharged from the hospital today. It turns out my aortic valve was bicuspid (two flaps instead of three) and also positioned awkwardly making it tricky to replace. The replacement surgery then triggered a complete heart block (the electrical impulses in the heart don’t travel as they should, necessitating the pacemaker implant. A little overwhelmed with all of the new meds, instructions, appointments, etc. Appreciate everyone’s kind thoughts and look forward to getting back to 365!

Oh, my, Amy! What an ordeal you have had! Will be praying for strength and easy adjustment to new meds, instructions, etc. Most of all, for peace of heart and mind! Blessings! B
