Squirrel feeder

Posted for those who commented on yesterdays photo to clear up the misconception that we had a gang of club-wielding squirrels in our neighborhood! We had a spinning squirrel feeder on a large tree for many years until the tree was lost to old age and a windstorm. Hubby constructed this to carry on the tradition.

truly one of the funniest things I've seen so far as a feeder - I like that they have to work for the food, and use their brilliant little minds!

We do things here to stop the squirrels feeding, so I did wonder at first if that was a hatchet!!!
