Blimey! 200 up today! Am amazed I've actually stuck to something :-). Incredible how quickly the time goes, doesn't seem possible it's over 6 months since I started this project.
So to celebrate, I took a walk down to the river and grabbed a tourist snap of Tower Bridge.. Took some less conventional views but after yesterday's glime of St Paul's, I thought a 'normal' view is in order..
Decent day in the office, met up with some local residents who have taken control of their communal garden - they've done some great work and have interesting and exciting plans for the future. Took some photos and will put a piece together for our newsletter. Always good when people put something back into community... Shames me that I do nothing.
As I walked down to Tower Bridge, I bumped into an ex colleague, had a coffee and a bit of a chin wag.. Now home and watching Fulham in the Europa Cup final...
This is gorgous, Andy. Earlier today I was thinking about this photo I took of the San Francisco skyline and was wondering what are the things a photographer does (composition, exposure, post processing) to make a good photo into a great photo. You've certainly accomplished what I failed to achieve. It's a wonderful exposure--I like the lights and darks.
Incredible detail! I've seen several shots of this bridge on this site, but this is by FAR the most stunning. Perfect! The lighting is "spot on"...great job
I love your "normal" view of this famous structure. I have never seen a better photo of this bridge. The sky color is great as well. Congrats on 200. "chin wag" -- I've never heard that expression before BUT I sure do like it.
wow... thanks for all the great comments guys :-)... Must admit, I was rather pleased how this one came out actually.. One of my better efforts.. thanks again :-)
and right next to my office too! sweet!
