Took a walk along a canal at lunchtime, nothing too interesting to take apart from a couple of snaps of the sun reflecting through the trees of the bank opposite me, which was highlighting the green moss just below the surface.
I didn't think anything at the time but once I uploaded the photos, I really liked them. The shimmer effect, the way the moss seems to be grass, the fence, trees and sky reminded me a little of impessionist paintings.
Quite pleased with this fluke photo although the sky on here isn't as blue as the JPEG image when I look at that...
My girlfriend had been revising like a cow (her words, not mine) for the last 7 days ahead of today's exam. She gets to the venue on time, only to be told by the Admin Manager that because she joined late, they had put her in for September's exam... But they forgot to email her!!! Never mind, gives her more time to revise...
That is terrible about your girlfriend missing the exam. That is a poor excuse on their part for not notifying her. I like the impressionist look to this picture.
Oh this is one of your best! Lovely lovely.....could be made into a poster. Well seen. Bad news on the exam front but as you say....more revision time...tut!
Thank's very much guys... and Steve, I think it's an Indian thing (working like a cow)... Although whenever I've been to India the cows just wander about eating... lol
This is an awesome photo--love the swirly way the water is sitting (if that makes sense) very dreamy. (Revising like a cow--haha, I'll have to remember that one when I'm writing/revising)
(ps i have never seen a cow revise before, I will check out the local herd tomorrow whan i walk past them with the dog ... you never know ..(o; )
I am only in Surrey. Was intresting as it only lasted a matter of minutes and there must have been hundreds that took off.
