Moët by andycoleborn

Moët

Seem to be in a rut these last couple of days, can't seem to find anything decent to take to or from work.

Could have been so different as it was really foggy this morning and I was tempted to stop off by the river to grab a photo as I was on my way to the station, but worked called and I was already rushing for my train.

In the end, here's a bottle of Moët that I've had for a year, a gift for my 40th that I haven't got around to opening just yet... I know I'm late for the still life challenge... but hey, I'm usually late with things... always behind the latest fashions, music etc...

Met up with Sangeeta after work and had a meal at Tayyab's in Whitechappel. It's a highly rated Indian restaurant and always packed, but to be honest, neither of us thought it was anything special. Although we both left full and bloated and only spent £15 so suppose that's a good sign..
cheers Andy! love the picture by the way!

Very nice perspective Andy. Glad you enjoyed dinner.

You - and especially Sangeeta - won't think most Indian restaurants are any special if it's anything like Suman and my experiences. I'm so used to my mum's cooking that everything else is a distant second!

When I first saw this photo I thought you were going to say you popped the question and were now celebrating......well maybe you should save it for that day.

French champers is the best drunk with fish and chips I think.

Vikdaddy is right. Once you've had real Indian cooking, it is hard to be satisfied with a restaurant. So, did you open the bottle?

I believe I recall one other item your running late on... A bottle of champagne would be a nice way to open the evening...

..hehe...I see Andrea just asked you the same thing! We women all have a one-track mind!

Nice perspective. Great shot. Now lets open and celebrate the weekend.

Sorry about work--but this is great champagne, I'm sure it was enjoyed. Kick back and enjoy the weekend (:

Come on tell us ! Did you open it ? :)

@vikdaddy @shelina Yep.. You are both right. I have been fully educated in what is 'proper' Indian cuisine and what is sold in restaurants... Although Lassan in Brum was very good and worth a visit...
