Today was my last day in work for a whole 9 days! Ok, 4 of those days are weekends and usual non-work days but 9 does sound better than 5..
The only problem with being off work means I have to leave the D5000 at work just in case a colleague needs to use it, and revert back to my old and much more limited D40.
I haven't used the D40 for months as the D5000 tends to live in my bag, but thought it best I leave it at work whilst I'm off. I have to say, I really don't like the feel of the D40 anymore, it feels poorer quality and far too light. Plus the lens/mirror is filthy - full of dust and marks..
And so to today's pic - just a very lazy sunset and tree silhouette taken as I walked home along the Thames.
Lazy??? count your blessings... lovely shot. I know what you mean about diferent cameras, I kept my 400D and when I pulled it out after using the 7D for so long it felt like a toy camera. weird, as I thought I would never get a 400D. spoilt I guess. BTW really nice sunset shot.
Hey Andy you always have your i-phone so don't sweat the loss of the D5000 for the week. Love how beautfiul this picture is and then you make out the industrial back drop. cool contrast
