Not much time for taking photos today as I was again busy with the census door knocking work. Thankfully the weather's quite nice and warm so pounding the streets chasing up households who haven't returned their form isn't as bad as it could be.
I took this pic down by the Thames this evening as I drove over to see Sangeeta. The tide was out and the usually brown mud flats looked quite silvery thanks to the reflecting setting sun.
I'm not sure what type of duck this is, maybe Cherrill can tell me...
Going to have a day off from the census job tomorrow... this extra work coupled with my day job mean I'm doing over 50 hours a week at the moment and I think a day's rest is well deserved...
I don't know what it says about my eyesight, but I had to go large to see the duck! LOL Can see it OK now though, great shot! And a fab example of how to break the rules!
thanks you everyone for your great comments.. @gill yeah, i've knocked on loads where people say they've rturned it or done it online... trouble is, we're issued with address lists that are 3 or 4 days old.. We're supposed to be sent daily emails of forms received but it doesn't quite woark out that way :-)

Hope you get the Census work done - very important for future generations if not right now!
