Follow the Leader

It was the Boishakhi Mela in East London today - marking the Bengali New Year (actually was on 14 April but held in May so the weather's a bit better), so we went along for a couple of hours to see what what happening..

I decided today would be a 'from the hip' day and didn't once look through the view finder and instead took plenty of pics holding the camera at waist height or around my neck. Some good ones but most pretty uninteresting..

This was actually taken in Brick Lane, a little way from the Mela but I do like the position of everyone here, falling into place behind the lady in shades..

The glorious weather in the UK just doesn't want to go away - and I'm certainly not complaining :-)
Brick Lane is one of my favorite places in the World......... Good job!

Pretty crisp and clear for a from the hip. Like the B&W, it looks like she's famous and they are all gathering the nerve to ask for the autograph.
