I am seriously not a fan of this type of shot, or the other when a ring is positioned between the pages of a book and a heart is formed by it's shadow... So soppy and shaltzy...
Still... here I go, taking a shot of our wedding rings just because I thought I better had... No other reason..!
The only other photos I took today were a few of Tower Bridge, but as I've posted loads of that over the last near on 2 years, thought I should photograph something else..
Took my parents back to Hampshire this morning... for various reasons I very stressed and due to sleeping in my spare room, being damn tired, have a bad back and neckache and wondering how they hell they can stay with me prior to my wedding without me having a breakdown or doing my back in so much I won't be able to walk let alone have a first dance...!!!
Ha! The time before the wedding is super stressful. More than you would realize. I remember my in-laws came a week or two early (from England) and were totally on holiday, meanwhile I was scrambling to get everything finalized. It was not a good combination. I'm back to loving every minute with them, which is a good thing since they arrive on September 9 for 5 weeks!
And, by the way, I agree about the cheesy shots. I never want to take them and eventually, I regret that I didn't. So keep taking them.
Beautiful rings, you can be forgiven for doing sentimental shots as you approach the big day. Why don't you go stay in a hotel while your folks are at your place (not that I think you are made of money) but that leaves them comfortable and you a place to get away from everyone at night. Pick one specifically for a comfy bed!
thanks guys... hotel idea is sounding more and more appealling... @karice haha I can image it now, the in-laws all relaxed and in full on holiday mode and you stressing...

How about the mattress on the floor for your back ...
Love Sangeeta's ring.
