Attended an event we'd organised at work celebrating the great and the good of the local community this evening.. awarding those who have been going above and beyond 'Call Me Dave's' Big Society call with gong and a slap up meal.
Pretty boring bunch of photos that suit the press and websites/newsletters but nothing I would bore you with on here..
So during a quiet moment I took some sneaky pics.. trouble is, with everyone seated and me being 6' 4" it's quite hard to be sneaky when I was the only person walking around the venue with a camera..
Still managed the odd one or two tho, but this one caught my eye as I rarely have bokeh in my pics...
Well done Andy! Good thing of being the only one with a camera, walking around, is the fact that you will be recognized as a professional :-) But then of course you are...
@mastermek haha.. well, works pays me to take photos but I'd hardly call myself a professional... sort of camera comes with the job :-) @filsie65 has it's advantages, but oh to go un-noticed sometimes :-)....
@andycoleborn I know what you mean - we had a friend who was 6'7" or 6'8" and he hated being tall. When you're a squirt like me you wish you could see more sometimes though - went to the Ryder cup and had a wonderful day looking at peoples' chests and backs... :)
(Hang on - how tall? Blarmin Ada - No wonder you always get good views. My shots are nearly always ground-level....)
