I do feel taking these type of shots as a bit of a cheat, as these really are no brainer shots with almost no thought put into them... but when a fall-back option is needed, it's damn handy having Canary Wharf on your doorstep...
This is taken from the bridge crossing Millwall Dock looking north.. Millwall FC were based near here on the Isle of Dogs but moved sarf of the river in the early 1900s....
The building with the blue neon crown is known as Pan Peninsula and is (or was) the UK's tallest residental tower...Has it's own gym, cinema, roof-top bar and is very, very expensive...Full of bankers no doubt...!!
Great reflections, no brainer or not it's still a great shot! Wonderful colors everywhere. And what a rule breaker throwing that horizon in the middle, you rebel!
First excellent shot - really great mate!. Second I disagree with your opinion that such shots are cheats. Shooting a cityscape at night can be extremely challenging as one must account of the proper lighting, POV, focus and clarity, all difficult to gauge in the darkness, and if streets are invloved, all kinds of annoying interference from people, cars, etc.
thanks guys for you great comments and favs... @michaelelliott cheers mate... been a bit busy of late, have been posting but not commenting much... sort of missed seeing your pics of late... off to check now

The beetham tower is the tallest residential building in Europe. Rare that Manchester trumps London on anything, not a cop out this, it's a great shot.
