Following on from yesterday's abject failure, I thought I would get back on track today and after work, once again headed over to the Wharf.
Instead of snapping the lights and building there, I looked west and across West India Dock to the Millennium Dome... Or to give it it's currant name, the O2 Arena... Although being an old fart, I still call it the dome.!
Fortunately, I found a level surface so didn't need to hold the camera at all, hence this 20 second exposure...
Despite all the redevlopment around this part of London over the last 25 years, I'm glad they left the cranes around the docks as this gives a reminder of what these docks were once used for...
I'm glad you looked for something else to shoot other than buildings for your water night shot. I often look for different objects that cast an interesting glow on the water. You did great here capturing the silver and gold lights. Fits the season and all.
Cracking shit ! I went with school when I was 17 was proper rubbish. I watched a show other day on catch up on demand about the £300m heist there when the ram raided the place with a JCB

This is a beautiful shot :) The colours are so vivid and the reflections so clear.
