Dusty Rose by andycoleborn

Dusty Rose

It was a bit warmer today than it has been the last few days so I headed out and tidied up Sangeeta's garden and at the same time, used her BBQ to incinerate a ton of paperwork as her shreader had broken..

Strange old weather this year... flowers are still blooming and bees were out collecting pollen... And it's 2 weeks to Christmas..!!!!

Chucked an old rose on the smoldering remains and clicked off a shot in case I didn't take anything later int he day.. Good job, as I didn't take anything else..!!!

Haha. Know that feeling. Good looking shot too.

Great details....and at first I thought it was snow on the rose. I see that you aren't having snow yet.

Ashes to ashes......just love this shot, conjures up nostalgia and a sad notion.....so I'll just ignore the truth in your commentary!! lol As you might guess...a fave!

@mrssmith no... thankfully. London usually doesn't get more than 1 or 2 days snow (which doesn't last) so the last couple of years heavy snowfall have been a bit unusual (and not really welcomed)..

@Cherrill thanks cherril... Sangeeta was keeping the roses for some unknown reason... hope she doesn't see what I did to one of them :-)

I have quite a collection of dried roses from various gifts Chris gave me. I am thinking you might be in a bit of trouble................:-)
