As I treat this project as a semi-diary, I will try to detail the day as it was...
After hearing the news last night that my father was taken into hospital and was in a pretty bad way, I headed from London down to the QA Hospital in Portsmouth in the morning.
I got there to be met with the sight no one wants to see, their father in so much pain it was almost unbearable to watch. The poor old fella struggling and fighting but clinging to life... it was a heartbreaking sight.
I really cannot remember too much about the day other than watching Consultants, Doctors and Nurses working like crazy to stabilise my Dad, speaking to relatives and Sangeeta, hoping it wasn't the end but having to face up to the inevitable...
