Down to Hampshire to check on Mum today... After a brief pause at her house, it was back in the car to find somewhere to have lunch..
Finally settled on a pub that was a tadge too busy and waited over an hour to be served.. only to have to send the food back as it was cold... 4/10 but what do you expect for one of those cheap and cheerful "2 meals for £8" places...
Then a drive to Wickham, a small neighbouring village which is still full of old charm and quaint little shops such as this one... which whilst closed, still caught Mum's eye..
Then another 3 hours drive home and now resting up watching 127 hours waiting for MoTD to start...
@lolanae thanks Brandie, we'll all ok ta, although poor Mum will be a worry once the funeral takes place and we all return to far off fields... nice of you to ask...altho she must be looking a bit rough as she's already being mistaken for a man haha @bec01

My Cathy would have been there right alongside your Mum... she loves those olde sweet shops!! What a shame the shop was shut, I imagine a bit of sugar would have done you all no harm at all :)
