Bit of a fishy sky this evening... Took this, often photographed tree, near to home this evening. It's a quiet river side path but I was hoping for a passer-by so a bit lucky these kids on bikes came wizzing through...
You may think this is an ELT but it's a lie... just right of shot is another... Still, as it looks all alone, I'll add a tag.. :-)
Finally, pulled my finger out and hit the gym this evening.. Thought as it's less than 6 weeks to my holiday, I'd better get a move on...
And other news.... London (and much of southern England) is officially in a drought situation it was announced today...!!!! And who says it always rains in England ;-)
oh I love this sky Andy - never heard of the term Mackerel sky, but it's such a great description ! I heard the news about the South-East of England offically having a drought...I had friends over from Canada at the weekend, and told them when it was raining on Saturday that I'd not seen any rain for weeks !
@andycoleborn I heard something strange on TV, and I may be remembering it wrong, but 10 inches of snow, will only make 1 inch of water...so guessing that is why we're in a drought scenario !
